I wrote this video for GVSU’s 2021 virtual Campus Life Night Live. The goal was to encourage students to get involved in Student Life and join a student organization in a fun, light-hearted manner. I also got to be in the video and was able to gain some more on-camera experience.
I wrote this video for GVSU Student Life and the GVSU Community Service Learning Center. It was posted right before the 2020 presidential election, and the university was anticipating a tense political climate on campus. The intent of this video was to remind students to be respectful of those who they disagree with and to encourage all students to get out and vote.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, GVSU Student Life was not able to host an in-person Campus Life Night. Campus Life Night is the universities biannual event that educates students about all of the different student organizations and encourages them to get involved. I wrote the script for this video, and I worked collaboratively with my coworkers and supervisor to develop its structure and put it together.
